Rains are expected in Tajikistan only in the second half of October. It is reported by the Hydrometeorological Center of Tajikistan.

According to the department, the air temperature in the country will drop in October, but at the same time it will be slightly above the climatic norm.

In Dushanbe, the average monthly air temperature is predicted to be 1 degree above the climate norm. In general, compared to September, October will be 4-5 degrees cooler. During the day, the air will warm up to a level of 26-27 degrees.

In the Khatlon region, the situation is almost identical – the air is 1 degree above the norm, but in general, the temperature is expected to drop to 27 degrees during the day, in contrast to the current 33 degrees.

In Sughd region in October the temperature is expected to be below the climatic norm. In the first half of the month, the air temperature in the valleys will be 28 degrees during the day. And in the second half of the month, precipitation of varying intensity is expected in the region. Winds up to 15-20 mph are expected in some areas.

In some western regions of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the air temperature in October is predicted to be 1 degree above the climatic norm, and the weather in the east of the region will be 20 degrees Celsius during the day.
