An international research-and-practical conference entitled “Business Education in Tajikistan: Contemporary Challenges and Perspectives” took place in Dushanbe on November 3.

Organized by the National Association of Managers and Marketers, the Academy of Management and Business jointly with the Ministry of Economics and Demography of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan under technical assistance of the European Union, the conference reportedly focused on issues related to mastering the methods and modern formats of the business education, coordination and consolidation of efforts of business and education.

The conference participants also discussed problems of improving the quality of training and retraining of professional managers and successful entrepreneurs.  This reportedly became the key theme and leitmotif of the conference. 

The strategic goal is building benchmarks and key drivers for professional development of managers and entrepreneurs, which are based on innovative business changes and transformation of business education technologies.

The conference participants adopted a resolution to establish the National Business Education Development Council.

In addition to developing the development strategy for 2023-2025, the Council will also cooperate with donor organizations and international projects on allocation of educational grants providing for business, organize an annual national contest “The Best Manager of Tajikistan” and so forth.  

Besides, the National Business Education Development Council will support development of new directions that will include training in English and engaging experienced business trainers from leding foreign business schools.  

Business education is an education that embraces teaching and learning the skills and knowledge that might be applied in the business industry.
