One more microcredit deposit organization, MDO Shukr Moliya, has opened in Dushanbe.  According to press reels issues by the organization, its official opening ceremony took place in Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district on the eve of the Navrouz holiday.

The ceremony was reportedly attended by senior representatives of the Ismoili Somoni district administration, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT), potential development partners and the organization’s customers.  

MDO Shukr Moliya has license to carry out banking transactions both in national and foreign currencies, attract savings and deposits of physical and legal entities, issues secured or not secured microloans, open and maintain bank accounts, etc.  

In the near future, MDO Shukr Moliya plans to open fifteen microfinance support center in Dushanbe and districts subordinate to the center, install ATMs and POS-terminals as well as offer bank card services, introduce fintech tools to ensure convenient payments and financial management.   

The microcredit deposit organization is a legal entity established to attract deposits and provide microloans in accordance with Tajikistan’s law on microfinance organizations (2012).
