President Emomali Rahmon, in particular, inaugurated a new four-story educational building of the Vahdat Medical College.

The new building contains 25 classrooms, including 7 lecture halls, 10 offices for teachers and a large library of 25,000 books and 10,000 electronic books.  The premises are equipped with advanced technology.

The building is reportedly designed to accommodate 1,300 students in two shifts.

On the same day, Emomali Rahmon virtually inaugurated a brickworks, Khishti Vahdat Limited Liability Company (LLC), which is located at the foot of the mountain at the Dushanbe-Vahdat highway.

The plant that has been built by a group of domestic entrepreneurs is situated on an area of 3 hectares.

The enterprise with an annual capacity of 5 million bricks has reportedly created 30 new jobs for local residents.
