A liquefied natural gas (LNG) exploded at Merve Café located in downtown Dushanbe on Roudaki Avenue today afternoon at around 1:24 pm, according to the Dushanbe Police Directorate.

As a result of the blast two people – a café employee and a cafe customer – were injured.  The injured have been hospitalized   

Besides, Lexus parked near the cafe was damaged.  

The cause of the blast is under investigation.
