New educational building of the branch of International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan opens in Levakant

As part of his working visit to Khatlon province, President Emomali Rahmon yesterday attended an official opening ceremony of a new educational building of the branch of the Public Institution “International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan’ in Levakant city and got acquainted with the modern educational opportunities in it. 

The Tajik president’s official website says the new building was built according to a modern design to further increase the quality of education and training based on international standards in the light of the government’s educational policy at the expense of special funds of the educational institution on an area  

The educational building is designed for 2,500 students per shift, has 27 office rooms, 37 spacious classrooms, 4 centers, including the Green Economy Research Center, the Center for International Cooperation and Project Implementation, the Russian Language Center, the Center for Artificial Intelligence, and activity laboratories of customs and 1C accounting.

The technological park and the branch of the scientific-research institute of the university in the new building is another segment of the branch. 

Today, more than 930 students reportedly study in the branch in 15 specialties, including tourism and health resort, customs service, economy and organization of production, finance and credit, international relations and public administration.

While in Levakant, Emomali Rahmon reportedly also got acquainted with the projects of building a university branch in Danghara district and a kindergarten and greenhouse in the territory of the branch of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan in Khatlon Province.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the Board of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan has launched a project to build a branch of this university in Danghara district.
