Emomali Rahmon replaces heads of NBT, Amonatbonk and the National Academy of Sciences

President Emomali Rahmon, who is also the Head of the Government, has introduced a number of staff changes. 

By government’s decree Hokim Kholiqzoda was relieved of his post of Head of the National bank of Tajikistan (NBT) in connection with transfer to another job. 

He was appointed the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan.  This position was vacant during the last year. 

By another government’s decree Firdavs Tolibzoda, who had previously served as first deputy head of Tajikistan’s financial regulator, was appointed to head it.

Firouz Sahrifzoda was appointed the First Deputy Head of the National Bank of Tajikistan

By government’s decree Sirojiddin Ikromi was relieved of his post of Head of Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) in connection with transfer to another job.

He was appointed the Deputy Head of the National Bank of Tajikistan. 

Alijon Salimzoda, who had previously served as Deputy Head of the National Bank of Tajikistan was appointed to head Amonatbonk.  

Emomali Nasriddinzoda, formerly Presidential Aide for Social Development Issues, was appointed Rector of the National University of Tajikistan, replacing Qobiljon Khoushvakhtzoda.

Qobiljon Khoushvakhtzoda was appointed to head the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, replacing Farhod Rahimi.

Farhod Rahimi was appointed the Chairman of the newly established Committee for Elementary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of Tajikistan.

Zulfiqor Gulahmadzoda, formerly Member of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber rof parliament), was appointed to head the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan, replacing Abdullo Rahmonzoda.

Abdullo Rahmonzoda was appointed Presidential Aide for Social Development Issues.

Mirzo Faizullozoda was appointed to head the newly established Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies under the President of Tajikistan.   

Dilshod Rahimi was appointed Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
