The event took place on January 25 at the Institute of Fine Arts and Design and was organized by the institute's initiative, where Sangov had been working in recent years, with the support of the artist's family.

The theme of the exhibition is "The Journey Taken," featuring a total of 54 paintings predominantly created by the artist in recent years. The event gathered representatives of the intelligentsia, friends, and colleagues of the artist, as well as art enthusiasts. Attendees highlighted Isuf Sangov's role in the development of fine arts in the country. In particular, they spoke about the versatility and vividness of his works and his significant contribution to educating a new generation of Tajik artists.

The exhibition will run for a month and will be open to the public from Monday to Saturday during the institute's working hours. Isuf Sangov is an Honored Artist of the Republic of Tajikistan and a Laureate of the Rudaki State Prize. He is best known for his mosaic panels that adorn the facades of buildings such as the Dushanbe Puppet Theater and the Constitutional Court of the republic.
