President Emomali Rahmon and Majlsi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) Rustam Emomali, who is also the mayor of Dushanbe, today inaugurated a number of social and economic facilities in Dushanbe, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

In Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district,  they attended an official opening ceremony of a bread and confectionery production enterprise, Nonpaz Limited Liability Company (LLC).

Nonpaz LLC has been operating since the 1930s and with the progress of time, all its devices and equipment have become unusable.

The facility has been completely modernized, and all the infrastructure for the production of bread and confectionery products has been provided.

The facility now produces more than 80 types of bread and confectionery products, including bread, baguettes, sugar cookies, cakes, croissants, puff pastries and other items.  Its production capacity is 40 tons of bread products and 5 tons of confectionery products per day.

The enterprise reportedly created 400 new jobs.

In order to sell the final products, 24 sales points are planned in the capital districts, and service vehicles will also be utilized.

On the same day, Emomali Rahmon and Rustam Emomali inaugurated the second line Gayur Group for the production of polypropylene bags, printed circuit boards and diode lamps.

The second line of the enterprise for the production of polypropylene products reportedly operates on the basis of modern industry technology of leading global companies. The company's equipment was purchased from Austria’s Starlinger Company.

The first line of this enterprise was launched in 2020.

The production capacity of the enterprise has reportedly been raised from 70 million pieces of polypropylene bags up to 120 million pieces.

In addition to bags for cement, Gayur Group also has the opportunity to produce polypropylene bags for flour, other food products and chemical products.

On July 16, Emomali Rahmon and Rustam Emomali also attend official opening ceremonies of Zarafshon Jewelry LLC (Javohiroti Zargarii Zarafshon) and Bahor-Forel Restaurant in Dushanbe’s Sino district.

Zarafshon Jewelry LLC reportedly consists of jewelry workshops and a gold sales center and has the capacity to process one ton of gold per year.  Further, various types of jewelry are produced and offered to customers using modern technology.

Also on the same day, the second stage of "TBEA Dushanbe mining industry" LLC was presented. The new technological line has the capacity to process 4 thousand tons of ore per day, and gold powder is produced from it.

The total cost of the construction of the second stage of TBEA Dushanbe Mining Industry LLC, which will create 600 new jobs, is 650 million somonis.

Modern service and tourism facility – Bahor-Forel Restaurant — was reportedly built in Dushanbe by the domestic businessman, the head of Bahor LLC Saimuhriddin Sayfov, in accordance with the instructions of Emomali Rahmon, as part of the constructive measures to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence.

The restaurant can serve more than 500 people at once.  Fish dishes in this restaurant are prepared by skilled chefs.
