The Tarona Music Award 2024, one of the most anticipated music events of the year, will be held on December 14 at the newly renovated hall of the Akasharif Juraev Tajikistan State Philharmonic.

Best hits of the year — The nominees' songs have been selected based on weekly charts from Asia-Plus Radio, with listeners choosing their favorite tracks by Tajik performers.

Performances by icons and rising stars — Both legends of Tajik pop music and promising young talents will take the stage.

Unique photo zones — Guests can enjoy specially designed areas for memorable photos.

The event will feature 15 outstanding and talented artists, selected as the best by Asia-Plus Radio.  Their hits have won the hearts of listeners: Safarmuhammad, Sirojiddin Fazilov, Nigina Amonqulova, Jonibek Murodov, Madina Akhnazarova, Muboriz Usmonov, Noziya Karomatullo, Mehrnigor Rustam, Farrukh Hasanov, Valijon Azizov, Khujasta Mirzovali, Jahongir Zaripov, Rustam Azimi, Sobir Aminov, Nikruz.

 

Venue and time

The Tarona Music Award 2024 will be held on December 14 at the newly renovated hall of the Akasharif Juraev Tajikistan State Philharmonic.

4:00 PM: Red carpet arrivals

5:00 PM: The main ceremony will start.

The Philharmonic Hall was officially reopened after a major renovation on December 5 by President Emomali Rahmon and Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali.

The hall, with a capacity of 989 seats, now boasts modern sound equipment, colorful lighting, a large screen, upgraded dressing rooms, corridors, and façade. It is ready to host top-tier events.  The Tarona Music Award 2024 will be the first major event in its refurbished space.

 

History of the Tarona Music Award

The Tarona Music Award is the successor to the Surudi Sol Music Award, first held in 2003. Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon supported the project and even performed the song "Gushai Bom" on stage with renowned singer Sirojiddin Fazilov.
