Voter turnout in Tajikistan’s parliamentary elections reaches 85.3%

The Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of Tajikistan (CCER), Bakhtiyor Khudoyorzoda, told reporters on March 3 that out of a total of 5.52 million registered voters, 4.71 million participated in the vote casting process, resulting in a voter turnout of 85.3%.

 

Votes by party:

  • The Agrarian Party of Tajikistan (APT) – 986,887 votes (21%)
  • The Democratic Party of Tajikistan (DPT) – 237,536 votes (5.1%)
  • The Party of Economic Reforms of Tajikistan (PERT) – 595,281 votes (12.7%)
  • The Socialist Party of Tajikistan (SPT) – 248,064 votes (5.3%)
  • The People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT) – 2,435,541 votes (51.9%)
  • The Communist Party of Tajikistan (CPT) – 89,738 votes (1.9%)
  • Votes against all parties – 50,895 votes.
