Water will be turned off for 24 hours in several districts of Dushanbe

The Dushanbe City Hall informs residents that, according to a decision by the city mayor and an approved plan by the State Unitary Enterprise Vodokanal Dushanbe (municipal waterworks), some districts of the capital will be without water for one day.

The city hall notes that the water shutdown is due to the replacement of pipes at the Fishori water supply station, the pipeline in the Zarafshon area on Aisher Navoi Street (Mehrobod reservoir), and the connection of new project pipelines to existing ones in the Sino district.

The supply of drinking water will be suspended from 11:00 PM on April 29 to 11:00 PM on April 30 in the following districts:

Sino District – Neighborhoods 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15A, 31, 82, 83, 84, 91, 92, 101, 102, 103, 104, 112, Zarafshon 1 and 2, Ispechak 1 and 2, Muhandis Mahalla, Mehrobod, M. Hamadoni, Navobodi Bolo and Navobodi Poyon, Buni Hisorak, Dehi Bolo, Panjroud, Obodkoron, Bunyodkoron, Luchobi Bolo and Luchobi Poyon, Komsomol, Qazoqon-1, Mavorounahr, Kamongaron, Shishkhona, Yakkachinor, Hayoti Nav, Qaramishikor, Mehnotobod, Zafar, Chavliboi, Gijdalabo, and Bobo Hamdam Street.

Ismoili Somoni District — Khudjambiyoi Bolo and Khudjambiyoi Poyon Streets, Shafaq, A. Mukhtor and Nodir Streets.

Firdavsi District — A. Qakhhorova, Mirali Mahmadali, Sohili, N. Qaraboyev Streets up to house No. 36, Saadi-Sherozi Avenue up to house No. 24.

The city hall urges citizens to stock up on the necessary amount of water in advance.
