“The Republic of Tajikistan strongly condemns airstrikes by the United States of America and the State of Israel on June 22, 2025, on nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and expresses deep concern about the escalation of the conflict, which can lead to turning the current conflict into a protracted war with dangerous consequences for the entire region and the world,” says a statement released by Tajikistan’s Foreign Ministry on June 23.

“Adhering to the norms of international law, the Republic of Tajikistan also calls upon the United Nations, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and other reputable international organizations to take urgent and decisive decisions to prevent violations of international law and possible environmental disasters and to ensure the maintenance of peace, stability, and security in the region.

“Tajikistan once again emphasizes that the only way to resolve any dispute and conflict is through political and diplomatic dialogue and supports the efforts of the international community aimed at reducing tensions and restoring lasting peace in the Middle East.”
