Dushanbe International Airport Launches Recruitment Drive for Aviation Security Service

The Dushanbe International Airport has announced a call for applicants to fill vacancies within its Aviation Security Service, the airport's press service told Asia-Plus.

According to the announcement, positions are open for the following roles: internal security and inspection officer, aviation safety inspector, and member of the protection and control unit.

 

Requirements for candidates

Applicants for the first two positions are required to have:

  • Higher education;
  • Mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Tajikistan;
  • Professional experience in law enforcement or security agencies;
  • Good mental and physical health;
  • High moral character.

Knowledge of foreign languages is considered an advantage, and candidates must not be older than 40 years.

For the third position (protection and control unit), candidates must:

  • Be under the age of 40;
  • Possess a higher, secondary, or vocational technical education;
  • Have completed mandatory military service;
  • Be proficient in the use of firearms;
  • Have work experience in government agencies;
  • Be in good psychological and physical condition;
  • Be fluent in both the state and Russian languages.

The airport press service also noted that female applicants will be given preference during the selection process.

 

How to apply

Interested candidates should send their application documents via email to [email protected] addressed to the Aviation Security Service of the Dushanbe International Airport by July 31, 2025.

 

Leadership changes amid financial audit

This announcement comes shortly after leadership changes at the airport. Zaynullo Sharifzoda was recently appointed as the new head of Dushanbe International Airport, replacing Ismatullo Abdullozoda.

The former general director, Abdullozoda, and his deputies were dismissed following a financial audit that uncovered serious violations in their management practices.
