Press release by Turkish Airlines

As part of its strategic initiative to boost Tajikistan’s profile as a travel destination in Europe, Turkish Airlines recently organized a tourism seminar in Brussels.  The event brought together representatives from tour operators, embassies, and the broader travel industry to explore ways of promoting Central Asia to European travelers.

Officials from the Tajik Embassy in Brussels and local tour agencies participated in the seminar to showcase Tajikistan’s tourism potential and support its presence on Europe’s travel map.

Adem Kılıç, Turkish Airlines’ Country Director for Tajikistan, emphasized the airline’s commitment to fostering tourism growth in the region.

“As the airline flying to more countries than any other, Turkish Airlines continues to make a strong contribution to Tajikistan’s tourism sector through its vast international network.  We are committed to promoting the country's stunning landscapes and untapped travel potential across both American and European markets to help increase international tourist arrivals year by year,” said Kılıç.

He highlighted Tajikistan’s breathtaking mountain scenery, Silk Road heritage, and rich cultural traditions as key attractions for adventure seekers, nature lovers, and cultural tourists alike.

“As an emerging travel destination, Tajikistan offers an untouched, immersive alternative for those seeking new horizons. Turkish Airlines remains dedicated to building cultural bridges and introducing travelers to captivating places like Tajikistan — one of Central Asia’s best-kept secrets,” he added.
