President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin officially concluded his state and working visit to Tajikistan on October 12, departing from Dushanbe after participating in a series of high-level events, including the Central Asia–Russia Summit and the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The Tajik president’s official website says that at Dushanbe International Airport, President Putin was seen off with respect and cordiality by the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, marking the end of a five-day visit that underscored deepening ties between the two nations.

During the visit, held from October 8 to 12, 2025, Tajikistan and Russia signed 16 new bilateral agreements, reinforcing their strategic partnership.  The highlight of these agreements was a Joint Statement signed by both presidents, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the alliance between the two countries.
