The Tajik-based company Zypl.ai has received international acclaim with its research being accepted for presentation at NeurIPS 2025, the world’s largest and most prestigious artificial intelligence (AI) conference. This marks the first time a project from Central Asia has been recognized at such a high-profile platform. The research will be showcased in December at the San Francisco event, with an earlier presentation set for the AI Conf 2025 in Dushanbe at the end of October.

The research, which explores the resilience of financial models amid economic instability, highlights how synthetic data can help banks and financial institutions maintain the reliability of their systems during currency fluctuations and crises. This approach is particularly critical for developing countries, where historical data is often scarce, and traditional models quickly lose accuracy.

“This recognition at NeurIPS and the opportunity to present our work in San Francisco demonstrate that Central Asia has a valuable contribution to make to global AI standards,” said Azizjon Azimi, founder and CEO of Zypl.ai.

Zypl.ai’s technologies are already implemented in over 60 financial organizations across 20 countries, helping to reduce credit defaults and improve fraud detection.

From San Francisco to Dushanbe

Zypl.ai’s international success is paired with its active role in fostering a local AI ecosystem. On October 25, the company will present its technologies and research at the AI Conf 2025 in Dushanbe. The conference, organized by the AI Council under Tajikistan’s Ministry of Industry and New Technologies in collaboration with Zypl.ai and Area AI, is supported by the Government of Tajikistan.

The event will bring together leading experts, researchers, investors, and government representatives to discuss the development of AI technologies and Tajikistan’s role in the emerging global AI ecosystem.

“We now have a full cycle for AI development and implementation in Tajikistan, and we’ve invited all of our partners to Dushanbe to witness the formation of the national AI ecosystem, announce key partnerships, and launch new initiatives together,” said Najima Noyoftova, Deputy Head of the AI Council at the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In recent months, Tajikistan has taken significant steps to enhance its digital infrastructure, including the launch of the country’s first data center, the introduction of AI into the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, and the addition of an AI-focused curriculum in schools, supported by Humo Bank and UNICEF. These initiatives will feature prominently at the conference.

What to expect at AI Conf 2025

AI Conf 2025 will attract not only government officials and investors but also developers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts. Among the international guests are experts from the USA, France, and the UAE, with experience at Tesla, Google DeepMind, Perplexity AI, and Adaption Labs.

The event will kick off with an open expo area where companies and research teams will showcase their latest developments. The main conference program, including presentations, panel discussions, and thematic sessions, will require tickets for entry.
