One of the largest private holding companies in Tajikistan, IM GROUP, has become the official partner of the Tarona Music Award 2025. This decision highlights the growing interest of the business community in the development of the cultural industry and strengthens the award's status as a key musical event of the year.

IM GROUP’s partnership with Asia-Plus goes beyond the typical sponsorship model. The company emphasizes that they see the collaboration as a continuation of their efforts to support initiatives that influence the cultural dynamics of Tajikistan.

For the holding, it is important to participate in projects that can create long-term impact: supporting artists, developing the industry, and shaping a positive image of the country.

"Tarona Music Award is not just an award; it’s an event that reflects the energy of modern Tajik music," said IM GROUP. "We believe that participating in such projects helps strengthen cultural processes, and working with Asia-Plus allows us to make such initiatives even bigger and brighter."

The Director-General of IM GROUP, Ismoil Mahmadzohir, noted that the company’s participation in the award was based on an understanding of the role of culture in the development of society.

"For us, it’s important to support projects that move culture forward. Modern Tajik music is developing rapidly, and such awards show the country and the world that we have talent, an industry, and ambitions. Initiatives like this enhance the country's status, open new opportunities for artists, and create platforms that we can be proud of. Therefore, becoming a partner of the Tarona Music Award was an obvious decision for us — we want to be part of the processes that shape the future," said Mahmadzohir.

The Tarona Music Award 2025 will take place on December 13 at the State Philharmonic Hall of Tajikistan named after Akasharif Jurayev. This event traditionally brings together the best performers, as selected by Asia-Plus Radio, from top stars to rising artists of the new generation.

The Tarona Music Award is the successor to the legendary Surudi Sol Award, first held in 2003.

In the year of its creation, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon supported the project and took the stage with Sirojiddin Fozilov, performing the song "Gushai Bom" — a moment that became part of the country’s musical history and defined the cultural significance of the award.

Today, the Tarona Music Award continues this tradition: it creates a space for intergenerational dialogue, unveils new names, and shapes the modern sound of Tajik music. The award has long stopped being just a concert — it has become a focal point for the industry, a place where music becomes part of the public agenda

IM GROUP is one of the most dynamic private holding companies in Tajikistan, encompassing commercial, construction, retail, production, as well as sports projects and social initiatives. The company focuses on sustainable development, creates jobs, participates in urban development, and contributes to shaping the modern face of the country.

IM GROUP is known for supporting long-term social and cultural projects, stimulating the development of the local market, and enhancing positive changes in society.
