Firouz, the son of the renowned Tajik hafiz Dushanbe Pallayev, gained fame for performing traditional melodies in a modern pop and rock style.

According to the singer’s family and close friends, on the morning of December 16, Firouz began feeling unwell and went to clinic No. 13, where he later died from a heart attack.

Firouz Pallayev was leader and soloist of the "Sarez" group and performed songs primarily in Tajik and Pamiri languages.

He also reinterpreted several songs of his father, which were mostly in the folk and traditional Pamiri styles, adding modern elements to them.
