DUSHANBE, October 30, Asia-Plus  — First deputy head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Odil Sangov, yesterday met here with director general of office of Zeppelin International AG in Tajikistan Alexander Savchenko. 

According to the CCI press service, the sides discussed issues related to shipment of self-propelled mining machines to Tajikistan and training of personnel for Tajikistan mining industry.  

Zeppelin is dealer of transnational corporation, CATERPILLAR, which produces self-propelled mining machines and equipment.  

Savchenko noted that 25 CATERPILLAR-manufactured machines were currently working on construction of the Roghun hydroelectric power station (HPS).  He also expressed hope that CCI would provide assistance with opening of warehouse for storing spare parts and organizing after-sales service of those machines in Dushanbe.  

The two also discussed issues related to training of personnel for operating and servicing those machines.  Savchenko noted that they planned to open the training center in Dushanbe.
