DUSHANBE, October 27, 2008, Asia-Plus – On Friday October 24, a representative of Iran”s Supreme Leader at Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (IKRC) met here with head of Tajikistan’s Shuroi Ulamo (Council of Religious Scholars) Amonullo Nematzoda.

According to IRNA, Habibollah Asgarowladi and Nematzoda during the meeting emphasized on need for preservation, strengthening and taking full advantage of religious teaching and values, as well as shared religious beliefs of the two nations, aimed at broadening brotherly relations between the Iranian and Tajik nations.

Iran”s IKRC has made philanthropist investments at Tajikistan”s education, cultural, and job creation fields successfully and is currently supporting many poor Tajik families, according to Asgarowladi.

Nematzoda, too, said during the meeting, “The friendly relations between the two countries’ presidents are a guarantee for the expansion of bilateral relations between the two Muslim and brother nations.”
