DUSHANBE, August 22, Asia-Plus – Asked about the recent incident in Khorog, Tajik Prosecutor-General Bobojon Bobokhonov today said in his interview with Asia-Plus that detention of Mamadboqir Mamadboqirov, former chief of one of frontier posts in the Murgab district of GBAO is just “an issue of time.”
“No one commander is able today to destabilize the situation in the country,” said Tajik chief prosecutor, “We will detain him, because criminal should be punished.” Mr. Bobokhonov refrained from giving further details of the incident in Khorog. He just said that at present the situation in Khorog was stable.
