DUSHANBE, January 8, 2013, Asia-Plus — An operation carried out by officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) has led to the arrest of a 34-year-old resident of Dushanbe on suspicion of having been involved in drug pushing.
According to the DCA press center, 22 packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to raw opium weighing some 10 kilograms and Makarov pistol were confiscated from alleged drug peddler.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug trafficker and an investigation is under way, the source said.
