Karim Massimov, Kazakh Prime Minister held a session on export policy and internal supply of food-grain issues. About this information reported Kazinform with thee reference on Kazakh President press service.

Kazakh Government members, national companies’ representatives, holdings and public associations and region governors participated in this session.

Akylbek Kurishbayev, Agriculture Minister reported that according to regional governors’ data 99.8 % of grain crops were threshed and 17.3 millions tons of grains were harvested.

In general gross harvest volume is predicted to be 17.5 millions tons. That amount fully insures domestic demand and export orders which equal to 5.5-6 millions tons of grain crops.

Kurishbayev said that regions which are not grain producers signed agreements on grain crops supply with grain planting regions.

In addition National Food Corporation formed reserves. Those equal 600 thousands.

“Government guaranties grain availability and stable prices for bakery products. We have all necessary stabilizing mechanisms for this”, Massimov concluded.
