DUSHANBE, October 14, 2008, Asia-Plus — Tajik prize winners in the next Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in London on 2012, will receive apartments in Dubai, Muhammadroziq Nematov, owner of the Orian Group of Companies based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), announced at a press conference in Dushanbe on October 13.
According to him, gold medal winners will receive an apartment of three rooms each, holders of silver medals will receive two-room apartments and holders of bronze medals – one-room apartments.
“It is still premature to speak about the 2012 Olympic Games, however, it is the right moment to announce specific awards for athletes who expect to make serious success in the next Olympic Games,” Nematov said.
He added that he is ready to make his contribution to training of the most promising Tajik athletes for the next Olympic Games as well as other international competitions.
“Recently, I visited the Sports Complex, Somonsport, in Dushanbe, where Tajik boxer Anvar Yunusov is in training,” Nematov said, noting that he is ready to provide thorough assistance to Yunusov for participation in the World Boxing Championships that will be held in Moscow in December this year.
Established in Dubai twelve years ago, the Orian Group of Companies now successfully works on real estate, consulting and motor markets.
We will recall that the company presented Tajik prize winners in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Yusup Abdusalomov and Rasoul Boqiyev, with cars Toyota Camry and Toyota Corolla respectively.
Besides, Orian Group of Companies sponsored participation of Tajik team in Paralympics that were held in Beijing, China on September 8-18.
