DUSHANBE, June 11, 2013, Asia-Plus — The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) reports that inflation for the first five months of this year has stood at 1.5 percent, 0.8 percent fewer than in January-April last year.
We will recall that inflation for January stood at 0.5 percent, for February – at 0.6 percent, for March – at 0.1 percent, and for April — at 0.7 percent
The 2012 year-end inflation reportedly stood at 6.4 percent, which was 2.9 percent fewer than in 2011, according to Tajik central bank.
The Tajik authorities expect year-end inflation to stand at 9.0 percent in 2013.
