DUSHANBE, September 25, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The Minister of Health Nusratullo Salimov intends to visit a number of districts in the Rasht Valley, eastern Tajikistan from September 27 to October 4, according to press service of the Ministry of Health (MoH).

The minister will bring a bulk of humanitarian aid with him for local medical facilities.  The assistance will include medicines and medical equipment, according to the press service. 

During his stay in the region, Salimov will also attend ceremonies of opening of a number of medical facilities.  

It is to be noted that deputy health ministers Azam Mirzoyev and Sohibnazar Rahmnov as well as a number of other health officials are currently on a working visit to the Rasht Valley.
