DUSHANBE, September 3, 2013, Asia-Plus – Today in the Central Election Commission of Tajikistan, the Head of the Commission, Shermuhammad Shahian, met with the leaders of political parties, where issues regarding presidential elections were answered.

Head of Election Commission Administration, Abdumannan Dadaev, told Asia-Plus that leaders of all eight political parties took part in the meeting.

Mr. Dadaev said: “Only the Social-Democratic Party was represented by Deputy Leader, Shakirjan Hakimov, according to which, Party Leader, Rahmatilla Zairov is on a business trip.”

He explained further that the political parties’ leaders received answers to the questions of interest to them, such collection of signatures for presidential candidates, inclusion of party representatives among election commission members in polling stations.
