DUSHANBE, April 11, 2014, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes on April 10, the Tajik president’s official website reported.

Mr. Tohir Nourov was appointed deputy head of the Customs Service under the Government of Tajikistan.

Mr. Nasim Olimov was appointed Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection.

Mr. Halim Mahmoudov was appointed Deputy Director of the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan.

Ms. Nazokat Odinayeva was appointed First Deputy Director of the Agency for Social Insurance and Pensions under the Government of Tajikistan.

Mr. Jamshed Homidov was appointed Tajikistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva.

Besides, heads of supervision services in the fields of investment and state-owned management, architecture and construction, and energy and water resources, as well as heads of a number of research institutes were replaced.

Of 17 persons appointed to these positions, four are women and four others are fresh young personnel, the website said
