DUSHANBE, July 9, 2014, Asia-Plus — Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev yesterday signed a decree on convoking the 19th session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) on July 31.
The session will discuss issues related to holding Days of Dushanbe in the city neighborhoods and preparation of the city for a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) that will take place in the Tajik capital in September.
“Dushanbe Deputy Mayor, Burhon Nazarov, will report on the implementation of the resolution on creating food stocks in Dushanbe and Dushanbe Deputy Mayor, Nizom Hakimov, will report on the implementation of the resolution on measures to ensure regular work of public transport,” an official source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office told Asia-Plus in an interview.
