DUSHANBE, July 16, Asia-Plus – Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev and President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan noted the necessity of signing the convention on double taxation avoidance and preparation of the draft agreement on mutual encouragement and protection of investments, reported Kazinform with reference to President”s press office.




The parties emphasized dynamic development of trade-economic interaction between the two countries during the talks. Besides, Nazarbaev suggested signing a new cooperation plan between

United Arab Emirates

The two countries also develop collaboration in the transport sphere. The Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry and “Dubai World Company Ltd” are working over the project of Aktau seaport development.



Nazarbaev also noted the UAE contribution to Astana infrastructure development. Kazakh businessmen expressed readiness to support the Arab businessmen investing to such large projects as the construction of “
