GAZ intends to supply public transportation vehicles to Turkmenistan

DUSHANBE, July 14, Asia-Plus – GAZ Group board chairman Sergey Zanozin stated his company”s readiness to supply public transportation vehicles to Turkmenistan. The text of the interview with the company”s head was published by Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper yesterday, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.




Sergey Zanozin visited Ashgabat as part of the Russian official delegation accompanying President Dmitriy Medvedev during his official visit to



Turkmenistan


on July 5-6.



The head of GAZ Group said an agreement was reached during the visit on maintaining regular business contacts with Turkmen counterparts. “The sides acknowledged high mutual interest in cooperation at a meeting at the ministry of motor transport of


Turkmenistan


,” he said.



“The Central Asian market is very attractive to us. We want to take our niche in the market. This is the company”s strategy. That is why I regard cooperation with


Turkmenistan


as very promising, Sergey Zanozin said. If it develops upward, we will have a good reason to open a full-size service center in


Turkmenistan


. We can even open a production line, if there are favorable market conditions.”



“All vehicles supplied to


Turkmenistan


will be fully adjusted to local climatic conditions,” he noted.
