DUSHANBE, October 3, 2014, Asia-Plus — Tajik President Emomali Rahmon is expected to pay a two-day working visit to the southern Khatlon province next week.

According to some sources, Rahmon will visit Panj, Qumsangir and Bokhtar districts.

The main purpose of the visit is for the president to get acquainted with the progress of the ongoing harvesting campaign in the area and preparations for winter.

Rahmon is also scheduled to hold meetings with regional administrators and local population.
