DUSHANBE, October 31, 2014, Asia-Plus — Tajik Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Olim Rahimov has visited Kyrgyzstan’s Osh and Batken regions.
According to the Tajik Embassy in Bishkek, the main purpose of the visit was for Tajik diplomat to discuss with Kyrgyz regional administrators bilateral trade and economic cooperation as well the situation in border areas of the two countries.
In the city of Osh, the capital of Osh Oblast, Ambassador Olimov met with Soronbay Zheenbekov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Kyrgyz Government in Osh Oblast.
In Batken, Tajik diplomat held talks with Zhenish Razakov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Kyrgyz Government in Batken Oblast, and Akram Madumarov, Akim (chairperson) of the Kadamzhay District in Batken Oblast.
While in the Kadamzhay district, Ambassador Olimov attended activities dedicated to the 20th anniversary of founding of Tajik Cultural Society in Kyrgyzstan.
