DUSHANBE, January 27, 2015, Asia-Plus — Tajik Defense Minister Sherali Mirzo today met here with Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov.

Faridoun Mahmadaliyev, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense (MoD), says issues related to military and technical cooperation between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation were a major topic of the meeting.

According to some sources, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will receive Anatoly Antonov.

Anatoly Antonov heading Russian military delegation arrived in Tajikistan Tuesday morning on a three-day visit.

While in Tajikistan, the delegation will also visit military unites of the Russian military base deployed in the country.
