DUSHANBE, February 2, 2015, Asia-Plus – The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament discussed amendments offered to the country’s law on consumer rights at a February 2 meeting, presided over by Majlisi Namoyandagon Speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyndagon, says the board decided to submit an agreement between Tajikistan and Pakistan on setting up a joint working group on the issues of combating international terrorism and the Convention on Privileges and Immunities of the UN Specialized Agencies for ratification to the sixth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon.
Besides, the board decided to submit an agreement between Tajikistan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on the Dushanbe Public Transport Development Project fro ratification to the Majlisi Namoyandagon, Sultonov said.
