DUSHANBE, May 26, Asia-Plus  — Tajikistan’s Chamber for Commerce and Industry (CCI) and international exhibition-trade company Nova Expo UK Co (Great Britain) have signed a cooperation agreement.

According to the CCI press service, the document was inked by the CCI head Sharif Said and the Nova Expo UK Co director general Ali Reza Islami in Dushanbe at the end of last week.  

Under the signed agreement, the British company intends to hold five international exhibitions in Tajikistan; the first of these exhibitions, entitled “Water and Electrical Power”, is scheduled for October this year.  The remaining four exhibitions will be held next year: “Building Materials will be held in June; “Industry” in July; “Food Industry and Packaging” in September; and another exhibition under the name of “Water and Electrical Power” is scheduled to be held in October.

Roundtable meetings and business forums and conference will be held on sidelines of the exhibitions, the press service said, noting that Tajikistan also plans to organize more than 15 exhibitions and fairs next year.
