reports that Tajik Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda has said Tajikistan needs Iran”s assistance in various fields, learning the Persian alphabet, in particular.
The Tajik minister reportedly remarked this here on June 6 during a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli.
Rahimzoda cited terrorism and extremism as the most important crises of current world, expressing hope that the regional cooperation could settle these problems as soon as possible.
Tajik interior minister reportedly added that Tajikistan needed Iran”s assistance in the fields of training the security, police forces and border guards.
The Iranian minister, for his part, underscored that his visit would play a vital role in fostering the mutual relations,

Rahmani-Fazli reportedly also stressed that military solution is not the only way to settle terrorism, because people who are attracted to the ideology of terrorist groups have a wrong understanding of religion.
Pointing to Iran”s valuable experience in tackling terrorism and extremism, he said Iran is duty-bound to help its Muslim brothers.
He noted that terrorism is an international problem not a regional one, because the West and US have fully focused on the Middle East,
