Prior to the implementation of the project, the Surgical Department of the Central Hospital, which was established in 1990 and provides medical assistance to over 1,000 patients per year, was reportedly in a condition that needed improvement. In addition, improvement on the medical equipment was also needed.

With the successful project completion, now the building of the Surgical Department of the Central Hospital, including the water pipe system, has been entirely renovated, benefiting all the patients and workers of the hospital.  Also, now the department is equipped with the new medical equipment, including operation table, lung ventilator, electric coagulator and other medical equipment.
