DUSHANBE, April 30, Asia-Plus — Two classes of Tajik State Islamic Institute has been provided with computers and connected to Internet, Sulaimon Davlat, a lecturer with Islamic Institute, said.
According to him, Relief International has provided eight computers to the Institute and connected them to Internet.
“By government’s resolution our Institute was granted a status of state educational facility in March and it is now funded from the country’s budget,” said Mr. Davlat, “We are going to purchase several other computers within the next few days.”
Last November, by government’s resolution Tajik State Islamic Institute was established on the basis of Islamic University named after Imam Tirmizi, which was founded at Qoziyot (the office of Muslim religious authority – currently Islamic Center) in 1991.
