Dushanbe. 1 September. “Asia Plus” — The tremors, force to three points, were registered late in the evening on the territory of Tajikistan.
As reported the Geophysical Service of the Sciences Academy of Tajikistan, on August 31, at 21 o`clock 13 minutes by local time in Tajikistan was an earthquake.
According to the Tajik seismologists, the epicenter of the quake was located in 430 kilometers east of Dushanbe on the territory of the Murghab district of Badakhshan.
“In the epicenter the intensity of the earthquake was 3 points. In the capital, the tremors were not felt,” – stressed the Geophysical Service of Tajik Sciences Academy.
Meanwhile, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, on Murghab territory, on August 31, was recorded an earthquake of magnitude 4.7.
It is noted that the epicenter of the quake was located in 450 kilometers east of Dushanbe, 233 km north-east of Khorog and 27 km north of the administrative center of Murghab district.
