DUSHANBE, April 26, Asia-Plus  — The Fourth Regional Public Procurement Forum organized by the World Bank will take place on April 28-30 2008 in Dushanbe, the World Bank Dushanbe Office said.

Senior public officials from the Ministries of Finance and Agencies on Procurement as well as representatives of the private sector, civil society and international organizations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will discuss issues of improving public procurement efficiency in Central Asia countries.

The Forum will be opened by Mr. Ghulomjon Bobozoda, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, and Ms. Chiara Bronchi, World Bank Country Manager for Tajikistan.
