DUSHANBE, April 22, Asia-Plus  — Ms. Khairinisso Yusufi, the chairperson of the Committee for Women and Family Affairs, today started working visit to the Rasht Valley in eastern Tajikistan to get acquainted with women’s situation in the region, Asia-Plus has learned from Ms. Qimmatgul Alaberdiyeva, the deputy head of the Committee for Women and Family Affairs.

According to her, Ms. Yusufi will hold the committee’s board meeting there with participation of representatives of the prosecutor-general’s office, as well as ministries of interior, education, and health.

The meeting is aiming to consider issues related to settling family conflicts, demographic problems and attendance of girls in schools.
