DUSHANBE, October 16, 2015, Asia-Plus – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) cinematographers intend to shoot documentary about Tajikistan’s tourism opportunities and cultural relics, according to the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan (Committee).

A group of the UAE cinematographers, led by Mr. Ali Assalum (phonetically spelled), who is the head of the UAE TV Company “Aks Ali” (phonetically spelled), have reportedly arrived in Tajikistan.

During a meeting with senior representatives of the Committee, UAE cinematographers were advised to visit historical and cultural relics in the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), Zarafshon Valley, Rasht and Hisor as well as the cultural events being held in Dushanbe, the source said.

Mr. Assalum reportedly noted that the documentary about nature, history, culture and tourism opportunities of Tajikistan they plan to shoot would be telecast over television channels in twenty countries of the world.
