DUSHANBE, December 14, 2015, Asia-Plus /Avaz Yuldoshev/ — An operation carried out by the Drug Control Agency (DCA)’s office for Khatlon province in Qurhgon Teppa, the capital of Khatlon province on December 13 led to the seizure of a large amount of hashish.

According to the DCA press center, 30 packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing 28.505 kilograms were found hidden in Opel-Vectra belonging to a local resident, who had three previous drug-trafficking convictions.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
