DUSHANBE, March 30, Asia-Plus – The Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CES) under the Government of Tajikistan warns of possible avalanches, landslides and rockfalls in mountain areas during the period from March 31 to April 2.

According to the CES, a period of changeable weather is on the way over the report period and thunder storms and lightening are expected to hit some areas of the country in the coming days.

In this connection, the CES advise citizens and guests of the country to refrain from unnecessary travels to the dangerous areas.
