DUSHANBE, March 12, Asia-Plus  — Role of journalists in preventing and controlling tuberculosis will be discussed at a two-day seminar that will open in Dushanbe tomorrow, press service of the Ministry of Health (MoH) said.  

The seminar, staged by the Republic TB-Prevention Center under support of the USAID, Project HOPE and the Global Fund to Fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, will bring together representatives from media and specialists to discuss issues related to a role of journalists in mobilizing community to combat tuberculosis and raising TB awareness among the population, the MoH press service said.   

US Ambassador to Tajikistan, Ms. Tracey Ann Jacobson, is expected to inaugurate to the seminar.
