 KHUJAND, March 12, Asia-Plus  — On Tuesday March 11, electricity rationing was lifted in Khujand, the capital o the Sughd province, while daily electricity supplies to other cities and districts of the province increased to 18 hours, Asia-Plus has learned at the Sughd branch of Barqi Tojik power holding.  

On March 10, the Sughd province received some 6 million kWh of electrical power, the source at the Barqi Tojik branch for Sughd said.

In the meantime, according to the Sughd industry directorate, some 15 percent of the over number of enterprises (226) located in northern Tajikistan have not yet repaid their electricity debts.
