PM visits Khatlon

KULOB, March 1, Asia-Plus  — Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov today went to the Khatlon province on a working visit. 

Deputy Kulob mayor, Pirmad Zaripov, told Asia-Plus that the prime minister is scheduled to visit Kulob and Vose districts.  Khaybullo Latifov, the head of the Committee for Emergency Situations (CES) is accompanying him on this trip.

The aim of his visit to Kulob and Vose is to get acquainted with a progress of work on rehabilitation of flood protection embankments long the Yakhsou River, the deputy mayor said.

During his stay in Khatlon, the prime minister also plans to familiarize himself with a progress of preparation of the spring sowing campaign in the region.
