DUSHANBE, June 29, 2016, Asia-Plus — Saidmukkaram Abdulqodirzoda, Chairman of the Shuroi of Ulamo (Council of Ulama — an Islamic council that issues fatwas (religious rulings) and religious guidance to Islamic religious organizations), says he received the news about deadly explosions at Istanbul airport with deep regret.
“That is a sad news, and I condemn any terrorist attacks,” Abdulqodirzoda said.
According to him, night duty will be organized in all mosques across Tajikistan in observance of Eid ul-Fitr in order to provide security for the worshippers.
“We have made a decision today to organize night duty in all mosques. Authorized persons will keep order and in case of revealing suspected persons they will inform competent bodies about that,” the Shuroi Ulamo head told

Tuesday afternoon.
We will recall that series of deadly explosions at Atatürk international airport in Istanbul on Tuesday evening left up to 50 dead and more than 147 injured.
As it had been reported earlier, Dushanbe municipal authorities decided in March to install security cameras and metal detectors in all mosques in the capital, Dushanbe. The measure is reportedly aimed at providing security for the worshippers and helping to strengthen public order. The equipment was supposed to be installed at the expense of the mosques and their worshippers.
